To celebrate Martin Luther King Day of Service, a few Nourish Wellness members volunteered at Alameda County Community Food Bank. We bagged large boxes of pears and apples, that will be delivered to local food banks and pantries. These organizations then share the produce with elders, families, and community members in need. ~~~~~~~~~ “The rich nations must use their vast resources of wealth to develop the underdeveloped, school the unschooled, and feed the unfed. Ultimately a great nation is a compassionate nation. No individual or nation can be great if it does not have a concern for ‘the least of these.’” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
