Our founder, Nia Hill, occasionally volunteers at Merritt College Food Bank. Today she brought by a donation of seeds and plant starts, from Merritt College's Landscape Horticulture Department. Ms. Hill gave gardening advice while checking in food bank clients.
Merritt College Food Bank provides free produce/groceries for Merritt College students and people who live in the community. Room D-144 The food bank is usually every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 12pm-4pm. Upcoming dates: 4/26, 5/10, 5/24. Volunteers needed!

Nourish Wellness was invited to City of Dreams' symposium, in San Francisco. We were asked to help judge the greens cook-off, share seeds and planting info.
When Nourish Wellness has a surplus of red worms, we donate them to school and community gardens. Below is a pic of red worms that we donated to Howard Elementary School, along with our vermicomposting brochure.
